Ep97: Chelsea Finlayson, and The Zodiac Killer

Chelsea Finlayson is one of Adelaide’s fast-rising new voices in comedy and radio.

After launching her stand-up career in 2025, Chelsea quickly made an impact, reaching the South Australian State Final of RAW Comedy before making her Adelaide Fringe debut in 2026.

In June 2026, Chelsea won Fresh 92.7’s Generation Fresh, beating a field of emerging broadcasters through a series of live-radio challenges. The win earned her a permanent weekend show on Fresh 92.7 and a scholarship to the Australian Radio School Masterclass. Judges praised her relaxed, down-to-earth delivery, quick wit and ability to turn personal stories into relatable radio.

She has since continued building her presence on the Adelaide comedy circuit, including hosting the Adelaide Comedy Showcase at the Rhino Room.

Chelsea first joined Oldmate & Josh, for Episode 97, and appeared again for Episode 98, Meet Chelsea Finlayson: Radio, Comedy and Beautiful Chaos, talking comedy, crowd work, storytelling, radio and the assorted chaos that follows when you put three curious people in a room with microphones.
